Parade of the Past

Moon Area High School seniors participated in the second annual Parade of the Past on May 19th.

Students returned to their own elementary school to parade through the halls. It's a great opportunity for graduating seniors to catch up with their old elementary school teachers. The graduating seniors also inspired our younger students as they paraded through the halls.

Students at FedEx

The Moon Area High School Invention Lab students recently presented their final design proposal at FedEx headquarters in Moon Twp.

The students were tasked with developing a solution to implement into FedEx Corporation's logistical operation, aiming to streamline the current package life cycle. The students were partnered with two Design System Innovation Engineers, Kevin Byer and Travis Henderson, to help develop their potential solution. The students engaged in on-site visits, brainstorming sessions with the engineers, data analysis, and industry research to aid in the development of their solution.

The Invention Lab class is taught by Mr. Petrina.

Great work everyone!
