Students in Mr. Finn’s technology education classes recently created videos for Aero Tech Designs, a local bicycle apparel company. The intent of the project was to demonstrate to other students “What's So Cool About Manufactuing.”
One student produced video has been nominated for a regional award. Now we need your help! Please vote for Moon Area/ Aero Tech Designs for the People's Choice Award in the Pittsburgh region. We need as many votes as possible between March 25 and March 29 at 11:59 pm to win!
Westminster Professor Keith Bittel visited Moon Area High School on Wednesday, March 20th. He teaches collegiate accounting courses, is a certified public accountant (CPA), and operates his own accounting firm. Professor Bittel presented his background, educational experience, and work experience to the Business Club. The Business Club meets once a month and provides opportunities to learn from professionals in many facets of business. Business Club students also have an opportunity to attend a competition at a college campus.
Madaleine McMahon, a Moon Area School District senior, recently received this highest honor though the American Heritage Girl Troop 1301, in Moon Township. This award was given upon the completion of a multi-month service project that she developed, planned, and implemented. It required 100 hours of service as well as 10 hours of supervising younger troop members.

Congratulations to Moon Area High School German 4 and 4 Honors students.
The students recently competed in the 24th Annual German Day competition at Washington and Jefferson College along with students from 12 other schools.
